Sudan is distinguished by the multiplicity of its products and crops, especially oilseeds. Peanuts are considered one of the most important oilseed crops. They are an important source of the concentrated calories needed for human and animal food. They are used in many food industries. They are one of the most important crops from which oils are extracted. The waste of lamb and shell are also used as fodder for animals, and peanuts. It is beneficial for humans, animals, and soil, as its seeds contain a high percentage of oil, reaching 40-60%. It also contains a percentage of protein, amounting to 16-28%, and some important vitamins, minerals, and acids that the human body needs. In addition, it is considered one of the cash and food crops of great importance in Sudan, where it is grown. (A) Meals

(1) Un hulled cotton seed Meal

  • It contains 24% protein.
  • The peel contains a percentage of gossypol (poisonous).
  • It has a high percentage of fiber.

  • It must be reduced in manufactured feed for Al-Ashar livestock, as they cannot tolerate it.

  • Contains 40% protein.
  • It must be extracted after peeling and roasting the sunflower seeds.

  • Suitable for feeding all types of animals.

(7) soybean seeds Meal:

  • It contains a protein content of 40% – 48%.
  • It must be extracted after peeling and roasting the soybean seeds.
